In 1999, drawing on this experience, Patrick set up his first company specialising in hiking. His goal was to offer itineraries off the beaten track, in search of a more authentic and immersive form of tourism. He quickly realised that cycling was the ideal way to explore France in a different way. This realisation marked the beginning of the Normandie Rando adventure.
