Bike tour itinerary : Grands Cru Week-end

  • D1
  • Arrival in Beaune
  • Bed & Breakfast
    • Beaune is a renowned city for the wines of Bourgogne and also for its historical past.. In fact the old Gaul sanctuary which then came under the Romans, was also the residence of the Dukes of Bourgogne until the X1V th century! The heart of the town is surrounded by remparts built in the XV th century where one can visit the entire place on foot. The famous hospices, the wine museum and the old cellars are not to be missed.
And we won''t forget to advise on where to find the best restaurants and wine bars in the town.

  • D2
  • Beaune to Beaune
  • 30km / 40km / 55km / Bed & Breakfast
    • There is a lot to see in Beaune and many options for today. The absolute least one can do is to visit the famous hospices. For those that want a bike trip we suggest a round trip to the west from the vineyards of Savigny-les-Beaune to the hills arriving at the pretty village of St Romain before returning to Beaune by Pommard.

  • D3
  • Beaune to Dijon
  • 45km / Bed & Breakfast
    • Now that you have had a good night sleep you are ready to set off North. You will go through the the vintage wine area of Bourgogne spotting the enchanting names. This wine route is a pleasure for the eye and for the biker.
From Aloxe Corton to Nuits St Georges, passing by the Cotes de Beaune, you will have many opportunities to find a nice café to enjoy a glass of wine along with a "planche" of good cheese, bread and saucisson before reaching Dijon.

  • D4
  • Trip ends in Dijon after breakfast
